Every year in Athletics they make us run the "pacer test" starting in 7th grade. We did our first one on Tuesday! The coaches write our scores down so they have them later for sports tryouts and to see what we might be good at.

If you don't know what the pacer test is, here is some information.

This is how they set up the gym. I like to feel ready for these things because they are so scary. So I read some stuff about why they make us run the pacer, and I learned that it was invented by Leger and Lambert in 1982. It is made to "measure aerobic capacity, which is characterized by endurance, performance, and fitness. The objective of the PACER is to run as long as possible while keeping a specified pace."

It stands for : Progressive Aerobic Cardiovascular Endurance Run

NOT SO BAD!! It was kinda fun actually. Well not really FUN, but definitely not the worst thing I've ever done!!

My final number?! I GOT a 58!! I even beat a lot of the boys!

Wow I was not expecting that and it's higher than the girls high average! Coach Lovel said I should try cross country! Not sure about that though.

Can't wait to have to do it AGAIN next semester HAHA!
