In this ad the text is located in a lounging place because of the table and chairs. There's also a vending machine of women. If you look right on top of the women there are names of which would be like the logo of a soda can. Then you look at the mans leg which he has basically showing of the shoe and we can see his leg is really exaggerated on size. Then on the wall there's writing that says," Live your fantasy." We see a man who seems to be paying to get one of the women on display.  We also see a sign that says "Open 24 hours." The subtext of this is that when a man wears Redtape shoes he will have the girl he wants at a push of a button at anytime he please or he'll be able to "live his fantasy at any type.

The intended audience for this ad is young men. This ad basically shows how with the right shoes you could have whatever woman you want. Since the man seems to be young , it may try to appeal to guys who are around there late teens or early twenties. This ad wants guys to view themselves in the shoes of this man which then leads them to get whatever girl they want. The intended audience would think that this ad is right and go out and get these types of shoes. As for other audience such as white women would see this as sexist. Women may see this as sexist because the women portrayed in the picture are being compared to cans of soda . Then you see a man who's buying them for a few cents. White women will see this also offensive because it's portraying that they dress up in really revealing clothing and will be with any man who pays for them.

A fallacies that are demonstrated in the ad are wishful thinking and no real logos.

One of the fallacies is  wishful thinking. The definition for this fallacy is when the claim suggests that something is true because of what it portrays. In this picture we clearly see a man who can easily get anyone he wants and at any time. So this will show men that what stands between them and attractive women is the type of shoes they wear.

The other thing this ad lacks is knowledge of the product. This ad doesn't tell you about the actual shoes, but what they may get you. For example it doesn't tell you what kind of material the shoes are made of, how durable are they, or atleast how much they cost. Red tape is truly trying to convince the young men whom it's intended for to buy them and after that eaverything will come easy to them. Yet this is very demeaning to women because it's also promoting the idea in men that women are only worth cents and no more.
